Judy Lloyd has served as a community leader in private and public sector positions for more than 25 years on the federal, state, and local level as an advocate for business and innovation.

Lloyd co-owns Altamont Solutions, Inc., a custom software company in the health care and life sciences industry, started in 2005. In 2009, she founded Altamont Strategies, a company offering customized approaches to building targeted development and advocacy campaigns for non-profit organizations. Lloyd was previously appointed by two U.S. Presidents to serve in the federal executive branch at the U.S. Departments of Labor and Agriculture. She also served as special assistant to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, as staff member in the U.S. House of Representatives, as state appointee under Gov. Schwarzenegger on the California Coastal Commission, and as a 2008 candidate for the California legislature.
